Meet our Recruitment Chairwoman: Selena Dominguez. She is a sophomore psychology major. We asked her if she had any advice for ladies going through recruitment and this is what she said!

"Recruitment can be nerve wrecking and sometimes overwhelming, but the most important thing to remember is to be yourself! I promise all of us are just as nervous to meet you but staying true to who you are will help you realize which organization fits you the best!

Stay open-minded! Each organization has unique things to offer that you may not have known about until recruitment week.

Ask lots and lots of questions. Your questions will give you a better insight in what you’re looking for in an organization and which will benefit you the most! We are more than happy to give you the answers to any questions or concerns you have.

Make sure that while you have fun during recruitment week, you are also staying on top of your studies! It’s important to manage your time wisely so that you can still have fun during recruitment week and not stressing about any homework that you have left to do.

Take some notes on what you learned! A lot of information is going to be thrown at you during this week, and taking notes can help you look back on the information and really take it in. This can also help you narrow down which organization fits you and your values the best!"
